I’ve always been driven to create. I’ve always been driven to learn. My first love? Meteorology. I wanted to grow up and fly in airplanes above hurricanes and storms. I also developed a love affair with world history, primitive cultures to be exact. Somewhere along the line, I discovered rocks. Then, I discovered rocks with holes in them, aka beads. I was hooked. Beading has been a part of my life for the past 15 years. But there’s more!
I’m a native of Southern Ohio who now lives in the vicinity of Silicon Valley, California. I moved here 11 years ago, via my husband (of 11 years) Andy. I’ve discovered that, Ohio may be home in my heart, but I am a California girl through and through!
I’m also a mom, to a 13-year-old son. I am blessed to be able to be a full-time stay at home mom. Watching my son grow has been the most rewarding experience of my life!
Now, back to the jewelry. My obsession with research and history greatly influences my creative process. Jewelry has been worn since the dawn of man, with beads being some of the oldest man made artifacts ever found! I feel that adorning one’s self is a very open declaration of who you are. I strive to create pieces that make a woman feel like the Goddess that she is!
